Installing a RODI System

6 October 2009 No Comment

I bought my Reverse Osmosis water filtration system from Filter Direct. I chose the 106 gallons per day unit, which included everything necessary for installation. I also added the digital TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) Meter which shows the water quality coming in as well as going out. This is a quick way of knowing when your filters are getting old as well (the TDS levels will slowly creep up).

Red Line – Input from water source
Black Line – Drain – Waste water from System
Yellow Line – To Storage Tank (RO Water)
Blue Line – From Storage Tank to Chrome Sink Mount
White Line – From Storage Tank thru DI Filter To Container (Fish tank container in my case, 32 Gallon Rubbermade Brute Trash Can)
